Marty Raney

Marty Raney is an Alaskan builder, mountain guide, contractor, author, and television host best known for Discovery Channel’s Homestead Rescue. Discovery and Raney’s official website document his move into Alaska in 1974, his remote homestead in Haines, and his work on Homestead Rescue and Raney Ranch. Public sources disagree substantially about his birth year, reporting dates from 1956 to 1962; no sufficiently authoritative source in the available results establishes a definitive year, so birth_year and age are left unknown.

Discovery has not publicly confirmed his compensation, while entertainment websites publish unverified estimates ranging from about $10,000 to $50,000 per episode; the annual salary fields therefore use a conservative reported estimate range based on approximately 10 television episodes per year, not an official contract. 3 million, although these are not Forbes- or Bloomberg-verified figures.
